Senator Bam Aquino and various groups have swiftly established soup kitchens in several areas affected by Typhoon Crising and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). In coordination with the Office of Sen. Bam Aquino, Kaya Natin Youth chapters in Caloocan, Manila, and Malabon have provided hot meals to flood-affected residents.<\/p>\n

Angat Buhay, the non-government organization (NGO) founded by former Vice President and Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo, and its local chapters have also distributed food packs in rain-affected areas as part of its Angat Bayanihan Volunteer Network.<\/p>\n

In Marikina, Angat Buhay, in coordination with Trining\u2019s Kitchen Stories, has prepared 3,500 hot meals for evacuees. Grab Philippines and the City Government of Marikina will distribute the meals to families in evacuation centers.<\/p>\n

Angat Buhay volunteers also distributed food packs to residents of Brgy. San Juan in Taytay, Rizal, while affiliate groups ALERTO (Alliance on Local Emergency Response Team Operations) and U Lead Pilipinas served hot meals to 131 families across five evacuation sites in Bulacan<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
